[بَارَكَ اللهُ لَكَ فِالْمَوْهُوبِ, وَ شَكَرْتَ الْوَاهِب, وَ بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ, وَ رُزِقْتَ برَّه...بَارَكَ اللهُ لَكَ وَ بَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ، َوجَزَاكَ اللهُ خَيْراً، وَرَزَقَكَ اللهُ مِثْلَهُ، وأَجْزَلَ ثَوَابَكَ
Baraka l-lahu laka fi-l-mawhubi laka, wa shakarta-l-wahiba, wa balagha ashuddahu, wa ruziqta birrahu.
May Allah bless what He allots to you (this child) and may you be grateful to the One who allots him to you. May he (this child) come to maturity and may Allah allot him the good behaviour towards you.
[Answer :] May Allah bless every thing that He allots to you ! May Allah reward you by His forgiveness, allot a new-born like mine to you and give you an abundant retribution.]
