Remembrance while ascending or descending

[Jabir said: While ascending, we would say:

اللهُ أَكْـبَر.

Allahu akbar.

‘Allah is the greatest.’

and when descending, we would say:

سُبْـحانَ الله.

Subhanal-lah.

‘How perfect Allah is.’]
